Adventure Day in Ruosniemi

Today English Class fifth graders, along with all of the other fifth graders at Cygnaeus School, participated in a series of  adventure challenges. The day was organized by Pitkis Sport and is an annual event for fifth graders. No one minded the fact that it rained a bit. Pupils were too focused on meeting the challenges of the day.

This is harder than it looks! Encouraging classmates make it feel easier.

The monkey puzzle kept everyone busy for a while.

Rock climbing isn’t for the faint-hearted. Some pupils overcame their fear of heights.

This challenge was to switch places while keeping balanced on the boxes. It was important to support one another.

It took a group effort to form a square from the pieces.

Paddling together required good communication skills.
