Story Boxes

English Class sixth graders put a lot of time and effort into creating very special story boxes. The task was to create an imaginary character using modelling clay. Each character was then painted and finished with wool yarn hair and colorful beads. Every pupil selected the size they wanted for their box. The boxes have a lid, a cover or a door which keeps each character’s environment secret. By opening a lid or door you can enter each character’s story. Along with creating the story box as their art project, the sixth graders pushed their creativity even further. They wrote the most amazing short stories describing their characters, their personalities, environments and adventures.
