Reading Books for the Reading Nook

reading month4

For the third Friday in a row, English Class pupils spent the lesson before lunch reading together in the shared reading lesson. One second grader announced proudly that reading in English is getting much easier. Practice does make perfect! By looking at the picture above it is easy to see how many hundreds of books have already been read our pupils. With all of the lovely sunny days we have had recently, there has been a slight drop in the number of books pupils have read. We are glad of the sunshine however and hope that pupils realize that books can be read outdoors, too, as the weather gets warmer.
