Something magical, mysterious and mischievous went on in the English Classes during the week before Christmas break began. It all started when the first graders found a paper bag hanging on their classroom door. The bag wore a label saying, “We’ve been elf-ed!”. Inside the paper bag were Christmas riddles and sweet treats to be shared by one and all. There was also a note (see above) containing specific directions about how to carry on elf-ing with others. Day by day “We’ve been elf-ed!” notices began to appear on English Class classroom doors. What a lovely way to spread good cheer!
